Aqualand is definitely the very best and most entertaining way to beat the heat, if not, then its absolutely the wettest!
Aqualand is the only Water park and Dolphinarium in Tenerife and boasts one of the largest and most modern Dolphinarium's in europe.
The Aqualand water park and dolphinarium is situated in the Costa Adeje area just five minutes from Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas.

The park features include a fantastic Dolphin show at Dolphin planet, Dolphin lake, children's area and the most amazing variety of water rides you would expect, with adrenalin inducing names including "Kamikaze", "Twister", "Super Slalom", "Boomerang", "rapids", "anaconda "Crazy Race" (height restrictions do apply on some of the faster slides) and slower lazy river types like the "Congo River."**
Along with the kids mini park & kids castle, pools, sun bed areas, restaurants, gift shops and snack bars.
(Aqualand has extensive sun terraces and sun beds, but the cost of these is NOT included in the entrance fee.)

Food Outlets & Queues at Aqualand
During the height of the season at Aqualand, as you would expect, the queues for the slides can become extremely long.
During busy days, probably the best time to get on the more popular slides is during the daily dolphin shows.
Aqualand's catering facilities include one restaurant, one self-service, four fast-food outlets, two snack stands and one ice cream parlor.
Aqualand provides extensive catering services therefore you are not encouraged to bring your own food into the Aqualand park.

Bus to Aqualand:
A free shuttle bus service leaves both Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas every day. Ask your hotel or resort for departure times or if you are unsure of your nearest stop.

There is also a return bus service, but you should consider your leaving time as it is a scramble when Aqualand closes.
Local taxis are more than aware of the business opportunity when the water park closes, so this could be an alternative option home if you don't want to get the bus.

For those of you lucky enough to have a hire car, Aqualand is situated on exit 29 on the main TF1 motorway. Aqualand also provides Free Parking.
